Taking a drink from God’s fountain
is life to one who thirsts
that has the restoring power
when Christ is always first

the pleasure of drawing from Him
His strength to make one whole

of love divine given so free
His living waters flow
filling one with that which man craves
God’s presence one will know

this life giving comfort for man
received in such a way
that nothing the world can offer
satisfies come what may

for complete is the child of God
made whole restored anew
by faith one finds refreshing truth
in all Christ died for you

and never to thirst anymore
He gives to all who come
this promise which He made to man
that Christ and man are one

completely reconciled to God
what joy that begs to praise
of Jesus Christ Who is the Life
from death that God had raised
